DANA: I am the Director of Education and also a teacher for a technology education company in Lodi, CA. I love my job and am passionate in my faith and about being a positive influence on the education of our youth. I am a single mom to a fabulous 14 year old daughter who makes life more interesting and fun every day. She is very social and stays active in sports and with school activities. When I am not playing the role of spectator or taxi driver to a group of teenagers, we are off to the beach, mountains, riding quads or shopping. Modeling for MIB is still new to me and I am thrilled to be a part of such an optimistic group! The clothes are beautifully crafted and it has been a while since I have had the opportunity to play dress up!

TESIA: I am a Bay Area Native who has dedicated her life to improving the lives of low income/ethnic minority students. I am the College/Career Advisor for a non-profit organization called the I Have a Dream Foundation which "adopted" a third grade class from one of the most impoverished areas of Oakland, CA, and has raised them in the program for the past 9 years. The goal of this program is to help these students achieve personal and academic goals above and beyond their circumstances. It is my feeling that it is critical for full-sized women to be seen as beautiful, intelligent and sexy right along with their slimmer counterparts. I am very active and also enjoy belly dancing, kickboxing, jogging and tennis. Quieter moments find me painting, drawing or snuggling up to my 8 year old kitty, Buster.

LISA: I've been a MiB model for many years and love it!!! I feel that each person has the right to be who they are, independent of the size of their body. I integrate this philosophy when I model, teach my aerobics class, give fitness workshops and in my corporate work as a Diversity Manager. I enjoy all that life has to offer, wonderful family and friends, retail therapy (MiB is a good place to start), a great bottle of wine, delicious foods, music concerts, plays, a good book and places to travel.
Living well is the greatest gift!!!! (I'm 5'7" and an MiB size GH).

DEBBIE: I'm happily married to my soulmate, best friend, love of my life and I'm the Mother to the most darling baby girl. Motherhood is a beautiful thing and I am enjoying every aspect of it. I have a great family, beautiful friends, and all the love I need in my life. I've made a successful career out of my talent, and I'm extremely passionate for my line of work. I work hard to attain my goals, surround myself with only the most positive of people, and I try best to bring only the best out of others. I'm glad that I can honestly say I'm content in all aspects of my life and embrace who I am as I'm making it big as a plus sized woman.

VALERIE: Ever since I was a little girl I've been quite the ham in front of a camera. Now that I'm older I still enjoy the attention. I love getting my hair and makeup done and dressing up in beautiful clothes. As a Production Manager in the publishing industry I relish the opportunity to get out from behind a desk and express my more creative, artistic side. I am originally from Southern California, but have spent the last ten years of my life in the Bay Area. Besides working in publishing and modeling, I have a BFA in Illustration. I love to paint (especially pet portraits) and go antique shopping for my new house that I share with my partner, two dogs and two cats. I am 5'9", blue eyes and a natural blond (that's what the color on the box says!)

CHELSEA: I found love in Santa Rosa, CA and I am in the process of fulfilling my love of food as Manager of a favorite Sonoma County Italian Restaurant. At 32 years of age, I have realized that size IS everything and that being an EF is OK by me! Modeling for MiB has increased my confidence and given me a place to let my personality shine. Modeling for the Making It Big Catalog, wearing their beautiful clothing and working with their fabulous staff has been one of the most rewarding experiences ever. I'm 5'9" and an MiB size E.

NATHANIA: I am a busy Mom to two daughters and live in Sunnyvale, CA with my family. Although I've been modeling for many years, I'm making my debut with MiB in the Fall 2006 Making it Big Catalog. I really enjoy the clothing and my first experience with the people at MiB. I have a keen interest in fiber arts and clothing. I am an experienced knitter and quilter and the Manager of a yarn store. I also enjoy being a Soprano in a performing choral group. I'm 5'10" and an MiB size E.

ROBIN: A force to be reckoned with, there is a sass in my step and a confidence in my look. I love to laugh, I love to learn, I love to LOVE. I am 29 years old, originally from the SF Bay Area, and now living in Los Angeles where I live my passion as a film producer and a plus-size model. I am driven by my passions and inspired by the people and the beauty of life around me. Dedicated to empowering Women, I am on the committee of the Hollywood "Love Your Body" campaign and currently planning events for the "Love Your Body Day" festival held in October. Ladies - It is so powerful, courageous and authentic to love who you are! Every curve speaks volumes about what it is to be a Woman! It is an honor to be working with MiB. ADRIENNE: I've been modeling for about 2 years now. After a severe foot injury caused me to leave my job as a dance teacher, i just had to find that spotlight again and step - no sashay- into it. I've never been one to let the way I was made (with a little extra cushion) get in the way of doing whatever it is I desire to do. So here I am now, proud and happy to be a representative of bigger, and every bit as beautiful, women.
